PRIVACY STATEMENT SONIC ACTS

This statement explains how and why the Sonic Acts foundation collects, uses and protects visitor data. For questions or comments, send an email to: info@sonicacts.com. Sonic Acts reserves the right to change this privacy statement.

An accessible website

The purpose of this website is to provide a user-friendly, informative and relevant environment that meets the needs of the user. The personal data that we process on our server is: data about your activities on our website, IP address, internet browser and device type. We analyse this data in order to secure and improve our website. We never provide personal data to third parties.

The website contains links to other websites. Sonic Acts has no influence on these websites and is not responsible for their content or policy.

Personal data

Privacy relates to personal data that can be traced to the individual to which it belongs. Some data is provided consciously by the visitor, while other data is collected in the background by the website.

Data that you provide yourself

For the sale of tickets we use the Paylogic ticketing system through our regular partner Paradiso. If you purchase a ticket, Paylogic collects, on behalf of us, your name, e-mail address, country, birth date and telephone number, which the ticket company provides to us for the purpose of handling the agreement: for example for sending tickets, but also for providing info about changes or cancellations (see also the heading E-mails), and (anonymous) analytics. To achieve this, we record your data in our MailChimp customer database. Because Sonic Acts uses Paylogic via Paradiso, Paradiso also has access to this data. For the Paradiso privacy statement, visit www.paradiso.nl/nl/legal.

Newsletters

When you register for a newsletter managed by Sonic Acts, you will be asked for your first and last name and e-mail address. This registration is done via the external party MailChimp. If you are a Sonic Acts relation, you may be a recipient of notifications sent via MailChimp. For this, the first and last name and e-mail address have also been processed. Unsubscribing for these newsletters is easy: At the bottom of the newsletter / notification is an "unsubscribe from this list" option.

Shop

When you make a purchase through the Sonic Acts Shop, you will be asked to provide data to fulfil the agreement, including the delivery of the product. This information is processed by WooCommerce. Payments in the shop go through IDeal or Paypal. WooCommerce does not process bank details.

E-mail

If you have purchased a ticket for one of our programmes or made a purchase through the Sonic Acts Shop, we may send you emails with information about the shipping status of the product you have purchased or other related questions. In the case of tickets for a programme, we may contact you to provide you with additional information about this programme, such as programme changes, reservations, or matters related to the programme.

Automatically collected data

The Sonic Acts website, and other websites managed by Sonic Acts, uses cookies: functional, analytical and tracking (third party) cookies. Cookies are small text files that a website can create on your computer, tablet or smartphone with information about your visit. At a next visit, the website can read the file, if it still exists. The cookies with purely technical functionality ensure that the website functions optimally and that, for example, preference settings can be remembered. No personal data is collected for this.

This website uses Google Analytics, which places analytical cookies to record your site use and stores data about it (including your IP address) on servers in the USA. It uses this data to create statistics for website administrators and to offer other services. Google provides this data to third parties if required by law or if these third parties process the data on behalf of Google. Google does not combine your IP address with other data that it has. By using this website you consent to this data processing by Google.

This website uses the Facebook Pixel. This keeps track of which pages you visit on the Paradiso website and whether you have purchased a ticket for a programme. The Facebook Pixel ensures that you get to see relevant Facebook content from Paradiso and that our ads are better tailored to your needs. That way we can better serve you online.

This website uses Facebook, Flickr, Youtube, Vimeo, Instagram and Twitter to provide additional content. These platforms use tracking cookies (third party cookies) with which you can be identified as a user on one or more websites. Based on this, these parties gain knowledge of your online behaviour and interests. This information can then be used for advertising purposes.

At your first visit to our website we informed you about these cookies and asked permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information that was previously saved via the settings of your browser. For more information about cookies and how they can be disabled, visit this website: https://veiliginternetten.nl/t... situation/cookies-wat-zijn-het-en-wat-doe-ik-ermee/

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Sonic Acts processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data: details of persons younger than 16 years of age. Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent.

Automated decision making

Sonic Acts does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programmes or systems, without a human being (such as a Sonic Acts employee) involved.

How long we keep personal data

Sonic Acts does not store your personal data for longer than legally required or necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Sonic Acts does not sell personal data to third parties. Sonic Acts shares personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to comply with a possible legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Sonic Acts remains responsible for these processes, with the exception of Paradiso, because they are the own manager of the ticket sales data obtained via Paylogic.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@sonicacts.com. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy your passport photo, make the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) BLACK. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

Sonic Acts takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. If you have the impression that your data is not properly protected or there are indications of abuse, please contact us.
